Finally got the gallop clean at 160. The trick was letting the pick float on the downstrokes — try it against the click before pushing tempo.

Not a riff, but this opening has been on repeat all week. The left hand is the hard part — keeping the bass notes soft under the melody.

This turnaround is the whole song. Anyone have a fingering for the last two bars that doesn't need the stretch?

Slow take of the intro riff for the newer players. Loop it at 70% until the pull-offs stop clicking.
